1.  Company Profile:

I.C.T For Agri (in Short IFA) is a youth lead for profit, registered social enterprise under Office of the Company Registrar at Government of Nepal. Informally started in 2014 as ICT for Agriculture project in collaboration with US Embassy Nepal and run under the management of Creating SMILES –building the Nation (SMILES), it has been registered as separate Social Entrepreneurship Firm in June, 2016. The product, ICT for Agriculture has itself won number of Awards while serving farmers mainly: a) Data Driven Farming Prize, b) Nepal Winner at ReConnect Challenge Event, c) Agriculture Category Winner and Grand Winner at Ncell App Camp Competition and d) ICT For Mountain Development Award from ICIMOD.

IFA offers web platforms a) http://admin.ict4agri.com/  and b) http://kinmel.ict4agri.com/  and Krishi Guru Mobile Application platform for Farmers, traders, Agribusiness companies and Extension Agencies working in Livelihood (Government, NGOs and INGOs).

Vision:  To become the Agro Marketing Company with largest classified profiles of farmers.

Long term goals of the product are:

a)   To improve the livelihood of farmers in Nepal making those accessible to weather forecast and farm get market price info and agri input info among other agro advisories.

b)   To establish as Agro Marketing Company offering largest classified farmer profiles to agribusiness companies offering them cheaper and efficient marketing channel

c)   To develop the software platform with a competitive edge over other similar national and international systems.
